Monday, July 10, 2006hey everyone!! just wanna give a great big THANK YOU to mei yi and minfeng for celebrating my birthday with me even though exams are just round the corner and it isn't all that convenient. thank you very much. i really really appreciated it. and as for my dear cindy sister.. its a pity i couldn't get to see her. guess studying really got her pooped out. haha.. work hard ya? u can do it! and as for those who couldn't come, thanks for making an effort anyways. =)i guess my biggest thank u is going out to scruffy for running all around just to make this celebration a memorable one. half the day he's missing cause he gotta get me this, and that, and that, and that. and ah well.. can't express how grateful and lucky i am. he's nearly my first for everything u know. esp my first bouquet of flowers. kinda sad i know, but nevertheless, its lovely. kinda drying up in my room right now. mama said to make it into dry flowers. kinda lied to mama that the flowers were from the bunch of my besties. ok.. anyways.. lONG story. but for now.. i'm just really glad to have a simple, yet exciting and memorable birthday celebration. thank u all once again!! was watching the ocip video just now. really couldn't help feeling extreme nostalgia. argh!!! how i wish i could go back there for another 12 days.. and mayb more!! as for now.. i guess its mug mug mug!!! take care everyone!!! Wednesday, July 05, 2006last night's performance was great. congratulations to all who performed. WELL DONE. a really great job. i'm really proud of all my friends who performed up there last night. though i'm extremely embarrassed to say i didn't get u guys anything. =(i loved the guitar songs.. really soothing and serene... loved the choir with their go the distance song.. ok.. all in all.. i loved everything.. just tt.. like everyone said.. it was a little too short. felt like i nearly teared when the choir sang "go the distance". well.. if tpjcians were really quainted to the show.. i bet there'd be this.. "i'm really proud to be a tpjcian" feel, and there were some parts i couldn't help but feel touched. indeed, this school can be quite dull, and lifeless.. but looking back and watching the performance last night.. i couldn't help but think and reflect about what has been going on in my life for the past year and a half. and to my surprise.. i felt grateful that i made it to tpjc and not anywhere else. Becuase here, i've learnt a great deal.. made great friends.. learnt many life lessons, and maybe, just maybe... deep down somewhere.. we all love this school. just that perhaps some people or things in school just covers up this love. If only, we could all come to a realisation with this little love for tpjc, our school would be such a blessing to be in. agree? haha.. going out with my pals yesterday was way cool.. we were like embarrassing ourselves BIG time putting on make up in the toilet.. looking f0olish but somehow.. i didn't mind! haha.. i wish i could do it all over again. seeing cindy was great. i really hope she enjoyed herself. =X felt really guilty for making her pay that twenty bucks.. i mean.. after all, its our school play.. not hers.. haha.. well.. guess i'll make it up with a lunch treat or something when i start working. =) as for mei yi's embarrassing stories.. i guess u can catch them on cindy's blog or even mei yi's blog. haha.. to sum up.. i can only say.. last night will be one night i'll remember tpjc for. =) |
